Blue, Black, and Gray

What a gray day today… but, as dreary as the weather is, it’s been a good day for me.  It’s the first day I’ve felt the most like myself in weeks.  As I mentioned in my last post, I’ve been sick for three + weeks, and last week I went to the doctor and found out that I have a sinus infection.  I still have a few more days of antibiotics to take, but as of today, I am feeling MUCH better.

To commemorate my “healing process” and because I have been living in yoga pants and sweatshirts–nothing wrong with that, but it isn’t quite as fashion-forward enough to photograph–I decided to go all-out today with my clothes.  I rarely wear dresses to class, but today I paired this simple, soft black dress with bright blue tights and a comfy yet chic sweater.  Since it isn’t raining or snowing, I wore my tall suede Aldo boots that I’m absolutely enamored with.  They make any outfit look so cool, yet they’re not so high up the leg that they scream hooker!

Anyway, thank you all for being so patient with me.  I haven’t been my best recently, especially with blogging.  I can’t promise a post every day, since this quarter’s workload is enormous (I am studying French verbs as I type!) but I will definitely be better than I have been.
